Akshata comes from India and holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Management. Akshata has been an active participant in extra-curricular activities throughout her school and college life and is also a recipient of the International graduate merit scholarship’09. In joining the student association she saw an opportunity to further enhance her organization and management skills. She looks forward to gain first hand experience in event management while developing her leadership, team-work and communication skills. After serving as a volunteer and Events Manager in the Student Association, Akshata now serves as President. In her spare time, she is interested in dance, cinema and traveling. |
Vrushali Mahajan - Vice President |

Vrushali also comes from India and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology. She is an aspiring HR professional and has previous worked as Associate – HR in a firm back in India. She is pursuing her Master of Management degree with a combination of HR and Marketing subjects. She has actively participated in various cultural and sports events throughout her school and college life. She joined the Student Association as an Event Co-ordinator last semester with an enthusiasm of making the most of her student life and believes that the enthusiasm has only grown ever since. She enjoys dancing, singing, trying different cuisines and travelling. |

Lycia is from Singapore. After graduating from her Honours degree in Fashion Design, Lycia embarked on a career in the fashion industry and developed a strong interest in IT and management over her professional progression. She is now pursuing her master studies in Business and IT (MBIT). Lycia joined the GSBE Student Association in hope to enhance her university life, participate in organising events and meet new friends from all walks of life. She enjoys singing, movies, hiking and travelling. |

Chandana is originally from India. Currently pursuing the Masters in Business and Information Technology (MBIT), she has a background in Computer Science Engineering. She has always been actively involved in Student Association activities since her undergraduate days. After being an event coordinator for a semester, she is now the PR & Communications Officer. She has a keen interest in Reading, Music, Movies and Travelling to new places. |

Abigail is from China and has finished her bachelor degree in accounting in 2008. She is now pursuing her masters degree in accounting in the university of melbourne. She joined the Student Association as the team offers her various opportunities to meet people around the world, experience different cultures and improve her communication and leadship skills as well. Abigail has been involved in organizing events as an events coordinator before becoming the Secretary. Abigail is interested in travelling and cooking. |

Joey Deng Ziyu comes from China and is doing the Masters of Applied Commerce (Accounting). Being enthusiastic, she is a member of many student clubs at the University, including Dancesport Club and Let’s Talk Conversation Group. She likes to explore and meet new friends from different cultures and backgrounds. After serving the committee in various roles, she is now serving as the Chief Financial Officer. She is addicted to movies and traveling and loves music, food and hanging out with friends. |

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne and is currently undertaking the Master of Management (Accounting) program. He views involvement in the Student Association as an excellent opportunity to develop key leadership and organisational skills and as a way to make the most of his university experience. After serving as a volunteer for one semester he gained a real appreciation of what the Student Association was trying to achieve and elected to join the committee as an Events Manager. Andrew’s interests include tennis, soccer, basketball, film, and botany. |

Tina comes from China and holds a Bachelor degree in International Economics & Trade. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Applied Commerce(Accounting). She joined the GSBE Student Association in order to improve her interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Getting involved in the Student Association also gives her the opportunity to network with other students from different countries. Tina has been involved in organizing event as volunteer before become an Events Manager. In her spare time, she is interested in watching movies, eating tasty food and traveling. |

Cherry is from China and now pursuing Master of Commerce (Finance) in GSBE. She holds a bachelor degree of Financial Engineering. The involvement of GSBE student association gives her the best opportunity to communicate with people from different countries with different cultural backgrounds. Interacting with students and staffs in GSBE also inspires her enthusiasm to organize interesting events and serve students as an event manager. Cherry loves travelling, watching movies and chatting with friends in her leisure time. |
